The HCM City administration has decided to suspend its plans to build the city’s first bus rapid transit system (BRT) after being informed by the transport department that the project was not feasible.
HCM City has outlined plans for an overhaul of public transport,
including metro lines, a new Bus Rapid Transit system and possible bus
lanes as well as trams in an aim to reduce traffic congestion.
